This eighteen inch handmade Keepsake Memory Bear is made from a loved one’s shirt, dress, top, blue jeans, robe, jacket or other items. The personalized memory bear has button eyes and a felt nose for added charm. Each bear is an one-of-a-kind creation.
We know it’s hard to lose a loved one. Now you can have them back in your arms with a bereavement bear made from their clothes.

How long does it take to finish the bear?
Your custom-created, heirloom-quality, keepsake will ship to you within the time frame based on the number of items ordered. This is outlined on the How to Order page. If you are ordering 1-5 items, your order typically ships within 6-8 weeks.
Can a bear be made from more than one garment?
Yes, order our Patchwork Memory Bear.
Can a bear be made from clothing other than shirts?
Yes, as long as the clothing has enough fabric for the pieces I need to cut. The bears I make are larger than most, so we’ll need to ensure there is enough. If there isn’t, we can always use another garment.

Denise made a bear for me to give my grandson when he lost his dad (my son). My grandson was 6 at the time and 2 yrs later he still holds on to that bear when he spends the night. The bear is made from one of my sons shirts and it really gives comfort to my grandson. Denise has a true talent. I highly recommend her memory bears!

So excited to see these as my mom‘s best friend of 30 years recently passed away. I’m hoping to have a bear made and it only for my mom but for her husband. I see you make pillows out of neckties but could you make a necktie out of an old piece of her clothing as her husband is a professor and where is a necktie every day. Hoping to get this order to you soon. It’s a very recent death and I have to be sensitive about asking for the clothing.

When my son died I wanted something to hold onto. I found the bears then I studied all the sites and found Memory Lane Boutiques were the ones I liked best. I had a very difficult time mailing out my sons sweatshirts but Denise emailed when they arrived and also prior to making the bears to get my acceptance first. Very thoughtful of her. I had 4 bears made, one for each of my immediate family. They all totally loved them❤️Could not have asked for anything more. We lost my dad to Alzheimer’s Christmas Day 2016. To say that it was hard is an understatement. I visited Mom a few months later, and “stole” one of Dad’s shirts to send to you to make a bear. I gave it to her later that year.
She cried and cried… which made us all cry. She LOVED it. It was one of Dad’s favorite shirts — he was a cowboy at heart and always wore the snap front, plaid style shirts. He had literally dozens of them.
Mom sleeps with the bear and it stays on their bed during the day. She cherishes it because of the memories that it brings. And for a minute, she can almost believe she’s hugging Dad.
